NEW SHAD PREMIUM SMART LOCK SYSTEM LOCKS
SHAD has developed two new locks to offer users the highest level of security and functionality: the new Premium Smart Lock and Premium Lock.
These are the models of bags and cases that will be equipped with it:
- Premium Smart Lock will be the locking mechanism of the SH48, SH58X and SH59X top cases
- Premium Lock will be the closing mechanism of the SH35 and SH36 side bags
What are the implications of this change in mechanism?
All the new bags and cases equipped with these new closure systems will be compatible with all the Top Master and 3P Systems on the market. From 2020 onwards, specific 3P System attachments will be developed for the new SH35 and SH36 bags.
More resistant keys: security keys with anti-bumping technology that offer a larger and more comfortable grip, allowing easier use even when wearing gloves.
Safer keys: the locking mechanism of these new locks is larger and more robust, ensuring greater security.
More comfortable closing mechanism and one-handed use: It is possible to do everything with just one hand: opening, closing and disconnecting the bag from the motorbike. The closing mechanism is better integrated into the profile of the bag ensuring less interference in use and, in the future, the development of 3P system kits better integrated with the motorbikes for which they will be developed.
Indicators: 2 key position indicators have been added: Open (to open or remove the bag) and Closed, to allow the user to know the status of the lock at all times.
