AFAM "self cleaning" sprockets are available for MX and off-road use. On each side at the bottom of the tooth there is a groove that evacuates sand and mud from the sprocket, in this way dirt does not accumulate between the sprocket and chain. This accumulated dirt causes excessive tension on the chain, consequently the sprocket and chain wear out very quickly and could even block the motorcycle. With this AFAM "self cleaning" sprocket you avoid these problems.
