The new Schuberth C5 Carbon is the first SCHUBERTH PERFOMANCE motorcycle helmet. Its full carbon shell is handcrafted by the same highly specialized technicians who produce Schuberth Formula 1 helmets. Thanks to manual lamination and autoclave polymerization processes, the C5 Carbon shell combines extremely light weight with exceptional performance . The new C5 Carbon features double P/J approval and complies with the rigorous ECE 22.06 standard.

THE GAME CHANGER

The carbon shell of the new C5 Carbon is produced with the same lamination and autoclave polymerization processes as our racing helmets, but even more importantly, the shell is handcrafted by the same highly specialized technicians who produce the current helmets. Formula 1 world champion.

ONE MAN, ONE SHELL

The production process of the new C5 Carbon is based on the "one man, one shell" principle, which means that the technician who starts the lamination must complete the entire shell production process.

THE ART OF "COOKING"

At the end of the lamination process, the C5 Carbon mold is closed and passes to the vacuum station, where dedicated operators carefully wrap and vacuum each mold to prepare it for the autoclave polymerization cycle. SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE autoclaves generate a combination of pressure and temperature within a precise time pattern. A cycle that lasts up to four hours transforms the layers of carbon fiber and their resin into a monolithic piece, capable of offering exceptional mechanical resistance while significantly reducing weight.

INNOVATIVE VENTILATION SYSTEM

The ventilation makes the C5 Carbon an innovative product in the modular helmet category. Optimal thermoregulation of the head maximizes the motorcyclist's performance and comfort. For this reason, the C5 Carbon was designed to combine maximum ventilation with the double chin air intake with interchangeable filter, combined with a rear spoiler with air exhaust and exposed EPS ventilation channels.

At SCHUBERTH safety is our main goal. The C5 Carbon, thanks to its full carbon shell, offers exceptional mechanical resistance combined with extreme lightness. The new C5 Carbon has double P/J approval and complies with the strict ECE-R 22.06 regulation. Like the entire SCHUBERTH collection, the C5 Carbon benefits from the Anti-Roll-Off system connected to the straps now repositioned further forward than the traditional housing, to ensure greater comfort in the throat area.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The most advanced technology available to your SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon. Extremely easy to install, configure and use, SC2 sets a new standard for motorcycle communication. High definition speakers and three antennas, one FM, one Bluethoot and one for Mesh communication, are already installed in the helmet. The SC2 takes just seconds to install - just enough time to connect the high-definition microphone via a simple jack, remove the covers from the main unit and wireless remote control housings, attach them and the system is connected!

SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM

SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon sets a new standard in terms of comfort. The padding offered as standard was developed to offer uncompromising comfort to all SCHUBERTH customers, but for all those people with non-standard head shapes who until now had to compromise between size and comfort, the C5 Carbon benefits of SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL. An innovative program that brings the concept of comfort to new standards capable of ensuring a perfect fit for all motorcyclists thanks to the possibility of customizing the side and rear padding (in sizes M/L/XL) and cheeks (for all sizes ).

MESH 2.0

Thanks to the innovative Mesh 2.0 technology, the SCHUBERTH SC2 communication system offers an unparalleled level of connection, redefining the concept of "communication network". With MEsh 2.0 technology, it is now possible to connect with a virtually infinite number of participants. In addition to this, the SCHUBERTH SC2 system includes the latest generation high definition speakers and microphone developed by Sena, an advanced noise reduction system, voice assistant and a communication range comparable to the highest performing products available on the market.

VISOR WITH POSITION MEMORY

It's always the small details that make the difference between a common helmet and a SCHUBERTH. First introduced on the E1's sun visor, the position memory function is now also included on the C5 Carbon's visor. With this function, whatever the position of the visor with the chin guard closed, it will be maintained after opening and closing the chin guard.

SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon confirms its leadership in terms of aeroacoustic comfort thanks to just 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h in a nacked position. Thanks to its proprietary wind tunnel, SCHUBERTH has optimized every single component both inside and outside the helmet.
